Thermoforming
Vacuum
Forming
In the simplest form of this process, a plastic sheet or film is softened by heating , clamped over a male or female mold, drawn over or into the mold by vacuum, cooled, removed from the mold, and cut from the sheet.
As The Harva Company has grown, we have refined and developed our thermoforming process and are able to custom form your products in a wide variety of shapes, sizes and materials. Our in-house production services range from tooling through final assembly.
Secondary operations available to our customers include machining, assembly, painting, screen printing, hot stamping and conductive coatings.
Pressure
Forming
This forming technique, using both vacuum and pressure, can produce parts with much of the same detail as injection molding at a considerably lower tooling cost. Pressure forming can provide greater definition, custom surface textures, tighter radii and thicker cross sections than standard vacuum techniques.
Our vacuum/ pressure forming capabilities are augmented by various other forming techniques. These include strip heating, drape forming and press brake forming.
Let The Harva Companys experience, expertise and dedication to quality
meet the challenge of your next thermoformed requirement.
